Kalaku (“the app”) is a fitness workout-timer app published by Compudent Systems Inc. We built Kalaku to keep you off your phone — so it collects as little as possible.
The short version
Kalaku does not require an account and does not collect or transmit your personal data. Your workout data (timers, logged sets, settings) is stored locally on your device.
Information we collect
None that leaves your device. Kalaku has no login, no user profiles, and no analytics that identify you. Workout entries and preferences stay in the app’s local storage on your phone. If you uninstall the app, that data is removed with it.
Permissions the app uses, and why
- Notifications — to show the rest-timer countdown and the full-screen “rest is over” interrupt.
- Full-screen intent — to display the rest-over screen even when your phone is locked.
- Vibration — to alert you when a rest period ends.
- Foreground service — to keep the timer running accurately while the app is in the background or the screen is off.
None of these permissions are used to collect or share information about you.
Third parties
Kalaku does not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. If the app is distributed through the Google Play Store, Google may collect certain information as described in Google’s own privacy policy; that is outside our control and covered by Google’s terms.
Children’s privacy
Kalaku is a general-audience fitness tool and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
